S Capital Management, LLC was established in 2006 to emphasize its talent and experience in traditional and alternative investment management. S Capital Management understands that the ability to provide each client the right mix of asset growth and risk management requires both years of experience working with people and an in-depth knowledge of investment products, both traditional and alternative. Each of our principals has over 20 years of experience creating investment portfolios for individuals and businesses. In addition our principals are known leaders and innovators in the areas of asset allocation as well as traditional and alternative investments. They have published well over 200 academic and practitioner articles and they are authors of the recently published “The New Science of Asset Allocation (Risk Management in a Multi-Asset World)”. They are frequent speakers at national industry conferences.
S Capital Management's principals helped create the investible Dow Jones Hedge Fund Indices and The Bache Commodity Index, established the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets (www.isenberg.umass.edu/cisdm), founded the Journal of Alternative Investments (www.iijournals.com), and helped create the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (www.caia.org). They have been active in the development of several hedge fund and CTA programs as well as passive hedge fund and CTA replication products.
